I have led travel groups all over the world and personally explored 65 countries. China and Turkey are at the top of our list, with five groups each, while Chile and Argentina aren’t far behind. Turkey offer a rich history, early church history, dramatic scenery and wonderful food. China offers a rich cultural experience.

River cruises are one of our favorite ways to travel — especially with luxury lines like AmaWaterways and Avalon, known for offering more space per guest and a relaxed, elegant experience. We’re also experienced with MSC Cruises, having sailed with them 10 times, and are excited they’ll be sailing from Galveston, TX starting December 2025. MSC also has a Yacht Club where you get a luxury experience without the luxury price.

When planning a tour, we believe in striking the right balance. Too much packed into an itinerary can take the joy out of travel. We avoid tourist traps and like to sprinkle in unique, memorable experiences like evening shows, Chinese foot massages, bike rentals, and yachting excursions. For private groups, we often recommend adding some free time or half-days off — after all, you’re on vacation, not a marathon!
